Somebody one day is going to publish the full story of the journey of Pompey from Champions of the Championship  and then the FA Cup win of 2008, to becoming a club in danger of relegation to the Football Conference.  While you wait for that to arrive in a brown paper bag with a bundle of used £5 notes, there are plenty of other books with a Pompey link or two to enjoy during the close season.
